Instructor
Training for the CIMA Business Flight Simulation Certificate involves 4 training sessions with an accredited course tutor and also a period of self-study.
The 4 training sessions can either take place at a physical location (a training centre or in-company) or they can be delivered over the Internet via the Virtual Classroom, in which a group of trainees interact with the course tutor over a free speech line.
In between these sessions the Internet-based Instructor is always available to trainees for self-study so that you can revisit the simulation models at any time and ensure that you are really comfortable with the concepts and the test questions.
The course material is provided online in the form of slides and also the interactive book Amplifying Intuition, which contain weblinks to the simulation models. The interactive book is provided below on the basis of the licence terms in the Permissions section. The first few simulation models can be used without charge as part of your Test Flight. The remaining models and the tests require users to be registered for the Certificate.
New registered users: start here and then click on Next at the foot of each page.
Existing registered users, click on a Title, Model or Test link in the tables below to resume your session with the Instructor.
Test Flight Volunteers: read these Technical notes then click on Test Flight below.
Technical notes: 1. If you have not yet confirmed that the Simulator works correctly on your computer, click now on the Breakthrough page. 2. Chapters, Models and Tests each display in their own window, for which a separate tab is recommended. In Internet Explorer version 7 and above this can be set via "Tools-Internet Options-General-Tabs Settings-Always open popups in a new tab". |
